hippiemamato3 Posted June 17, 2020 Share Posted June 17, 2020 I did not circumcise my son as an infant for a variety of reasons, but he is now almost 18 years old and would like to do so (for medical reasons.) Does anyone have experience with this? We meet with a urologist next Friday and I'm sure we'll get some info then, but I'm curious about recovery time, pain, etc. Thanks in advance! Slache Posted June 17, 2020 Share Posted June 17, 2020 I had a friend that did it in his 50s. Fast recovery and very little pain with no regrets, but we were not close enough for me to have details. Certain issues are treatable with something as simple as a topical steroid cream. We've tried that, and he's ready to be done. It's been a problem for a long time unfortunately.
