battlemaiden
If I cooked a bunch of bacon and crumbled them in a ziplock bag, how long do you think they would last in the fridge? I have this great bacon-cheddar scones that i would make more often if I could keep crumbled bacon long term. They are full of salt and preservatives anyways, right? Jean in Newcastle
I don't know for sure but I think the pre-cooked bacon you can get at the store lasts for awhile.
Ottakee
In our house..........about 10 minutes. Someone would eat all the bacon. How about frying it up and the putting it in the freezer? It comes apart very easy while frozen and you don't have to worry about it spoiling.
