chocolate-chip chooky
Poetry is one area that we haven't properly covered. We did all the easy bits a few years ago eg haiku, limerick, couplets etc. It's time for us to circle back to it and tackle something meatier, and actually do some analysis. I just don't know where to start looking for ideas. And realistically, we probably wouldn't spend more than a couple of months on poetry, so something that is a good overview and gives a sound general knowledge would be ideal. Any ideas are appreciated. Thank you 🌻

Kate in Arabia
With a child who was interested in the analysis side of poetry reading, we used Classical Writing's poetry curriculum. 1
