Samantheia Posted February 5, 2019 Share Posted February 5, 2019 My 13 yo DS loves to write and is currently writing a novel. If it was up to him, he would spend most of his time reading and writing. If you also have a child that loves to write, which online classes have worked well for your child? I'll take any advice on how to nurture a writer. Also, has anyone used Merlyn's Pen? Thanks! katilac Posted February 6, 2019 Share Posted February 6, 2019 My kids preferred to keep their creative writing separate from schoolwork for the most part and didn't like online classes, so I can't help you there, but they did both enjoy National Novel Writing Month online. They also participated in some online writing communities. It's been a while so I don't have specific recs, but you should be able to find some moderated communities for teens.
