Teaching3bears
Is this supposed to take place before the Harry Potter stories? Does anyone know if it's going to be a good movie?
Farrar
Yes, it's the second in the Fantastic Beasts series. It takes place in the 1920's and the whole series takes place during the wizarding war against Grindelwald, who was Dumbledore's great foe/ex-boyfriend gone bad. But fear not, apparently JK Rowling took that back for the film. No one is gay. Yes, it's getting good reviews. Between the aforementioned thing and the casting of Johnny Depp, no way am I personally seeing it despite being a hardcore fan and having liked the first film in this series. But y'all enjoy.

Yeah, it's not even getting very good reviews. The critical consensus according to Rotten Tomatoes is holding at 58%.
