Woodland Mist Academy
I've read a few places that colleges want to know how students spent summers. Is this true? If so, where should camps, etc be included? Under extracurricular activities? Somewhere else? Nowhere?
kokotg
I think DS has summer activities under extracurriculars on the common app. The one school specific app he's done had a separate section for it. His main summer activity is that we travel in our RV for 2 months, and I really wanted to make sure he put that somewhere, both because it's been a big and valuable part of his life and because otherwise it looks like he sat around and played video games all summer every summer ? 1
alewife
My kids have listed summer camps in the activities section of the common app. They have also applied to schools that have their own application with a separate section specifically for summer activities. 1
