Sarah0000
My first grader requested learning a bunch of creation myths from around the world. I already have books on Greek and Norse mythology that include creation stories. We've already read many stories that explain natural phenomena, particularly Native American and African ones. Please recommend your favorite books on this topic. Mythology compilations that go beyond just creation myths would be welcome too. I do at some point want to cover Egyptian in addition to Greek and Norse mythology, beyond that I'm not sure what other mythology systems would be most beneficial or enjoyable to learn. SJ.
If you have a decent and accessible library system I would start there. I have fond memories of reading picture books of myths from other cultures at that age.
