He let me pet him on the ground, standing up, and as he was walking toward the food I just put out for him. I feel like we have turned a corner. On a side note an elderly dog that we think is the new girlfriends dog has been hanging around. Ugh. We don't want another dog. We were so sad to run her off....didn't take much.
