Another Lynn Posted August 29, 2018 Share Posted August 29, 2018 My current 8th grader has a lot of extracurriculars and we're outsourcing English in two classes and Algebra 1 locally, so those are his priorities. At home he's doing Exploration Education, Advanced for science, American History for history, and One Year Adventure Novel as elective. American History is probably his lightest subject this year - he's reading from the Children's Encyclopedia of American History and watching dvds on the Presidents and taking notes on the dvds. We may choose a topic or person to read more about and write a paper each semester, but one of his English classes uses WWS, so I'm not sure I want to add onto that. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
