newbie
Are there any good ones or is there a home remedy to use other than water?
jamnkats
Here in Mexico the supermarkets regularly carry two products but I can only remember Microdyne (or something like that). We don't use anything but soaking all fruits and veggies in superchlorinated water - 1tsp bleach to 1 gallon water. But our tap water is not potable (well, it probably is but the piping contaminates it) so we even rinse dishes in superchlorinated water. Once
I just read Spy Car's post about peroxide and vinegar in separate spray bottles. It was in one of the social groups and I would have to look for it. When I googled it, I was surprised. I have not tried it but he might be able to give you info on its easy of use. Looked effective according to the research.
Blessedfamily
I use veggiewash brand. Some people use vinegar and water. Like Once said, Bill posted in the social group about hydrogen peroxide and vinegar for sanitizing the kitchen counters. Apparently, the study that tested it concluded it's good for fruit/veg wash also.
