Tutor in a Book's Geometry

Recommended Posts

This will be the first time. She actually didn't have much of a base of geometry knowledge at all, so I'm having her work through the geometry chapter in Lial's BCM right now.

The student did not have a parent at home who could really teach math, and they tried to do it with video type courses. She was struggling, so they sought out a tutor. She is behind some in capability, too, but we are making progress.

She will most likely attend the local technical college, at least at first. The goal is to get her through as much of Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 as possible.
