What thesaurus to order for WWS 1?

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to place an order with rainbow resource for WWS 1.   I cannot get the sample of the instructor text to come up.  (My computer keeps saying the link is broken.)   I know the child needs a thesaurus, right?   Is there a particular version that is recommended for this age or to go with the book?     Besides that I think the only thing the child needs is a 3 ring notebook and dividers, correct?

Roget's International Thesaurus or equivalent: not a student edition, or a concise edition, but the biggest, most giant thesaurus you can manage.  I started with Roget's American Edition, because we already had it, but got an older edition of the international thesaurus when I saw it was twice the size of the American one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0060185759/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Roget's International Thesaurus for sure.  The seventh edition I believe is the most current one. The pages we were directed to in some of the lessons  matched this edition.
