Question About Idaho Homeschooling

Recommended Posts

I found this quote in an old thread, and wanted to find out more for my sil who lives there. Rather than resurrecting a zombie thread, I thought I'd just start a new one.

"There's something available in Idaho, too, but I can't remember what it's called. There is some oversight and you get a sum of money per year per child to use on curriculum and other educational things, like the pp said, ballet, karate, etc. I looked into it, and it's really not a lot of hoops to jump through. . ."

What is this called? Is it a charter, or some other kind of program? I tried googling, but wasn't finding anything.
