He's had a cold for a couple of weeks, as have I which is why I didn't consider his to be anything more. His cough is mostly gone, stuffy nose and blocked ears for a day or two recently, but now he's saying all his joints ache. He's been telling me for a couple of days that his feet ache. Ria Posted November 7, 2008 Share Posted November 7, 2008 Lyme disease could cause those aching joint symptoms, but so could a lot of things. Jennifer in MI Posted November 7, 2008 Share Posted November 7, 2008 My ds had these symptoms for 6 months!!!! He was tested for Lymes, mono, thyroid, all sorts of cancers, arthritis, etc, etc, etc. Nothing. The symptoms eventually cleared and he felt better. This was a year ago. Ds is now complaining of the same thing AGAIN. He was in at the yesterday because he had a bruise on his ribs. We went through all these symptoms AGAIN. Dr. tested him again for many of these things.
