3 ladybugs
Good morning Flyminds! Welcome to the Flylady support thread. We have completed the baby steps found here: http://forums.welltrainedmind.com/topic/659360-flylady-baby-step-31-sunday-october-1/ Welcome to the Build a Control Journal series! There are 15 steps to build a Control Journal. You may find that you need all 15 steps, you may find that you only need a few, you may find that you need something that is not listed here. The choice is yours and no one is going to grade you on this. So have fun and let’s get to it! The steps: Get your supplies. Do a basic set up. Write down a bedtime routine Write down morning and afternoon routines Add Weekly home blessing hour Detailed cleaning lists Step 7 - Pantry list - http://www.flylady.net/d/getting-started/flying-lessons/control-journal/step-7/ I don’t really have this… which is probably why I have 3 jars of pickles in my pantry. I have tried to do this in the past, but my habit to have more food on hand then I would need in a Zombie Apocalypse probably doesn’t help. At this point this sounds scary so I just don’t even know how to start. What are other’s thoughts on this?
Jean in Newcastle
I don't have a written pantry list but I only stock frequently used items in my pantry. Otherwise I buy more rarely used items specifically for a recipe and use it right away. We recently went through our entire pantry and cupboards and refrigerator and freezer when we deglutened our kitchen after dd's celiac diagnosis. So now I know that anything I grab out of there is safe for her to eat.
