But it is a perfect starting off point. ;) So true!I was thinking about making my own list, but for now I think the best plan is to use this one. Yesterday I put out two hot spots that had just become part of the background of the room. Every time I've walked in the room today I've been surprised at how much more space there is and how different the room feels. (A cautionary tale to remind myself not to drag out piles of things to sort through when I don't have enough time to do it. Especially at the beginning of a school year! The books are not organized like I had plan, but they are better on the shelves in any order than in stacks on the floor by my desk!!) DH hates clutter but if it has been there long enough, he ignores it. It was ALL his stuff and few things from the kids. I put it in an open top plastic tote and put the tote in a spot that I knew would drive him nuts. What happened? Well it is still there, the kids reclaimed the whole area and I have clutter in 2 spots now. And with DH's working schedule I think I know what I will be asking for my birthday (October 22)!
