busymama7
I am thinking about trying this program this year for my 2,4 and 7th graders. They have previously done are mainly at co-op which they wont have this year. The 2nd and 7th graders are very artsy and always drawing, coloring, painting etc. The 4th grader has little interest but I feel its still good for him. I like that it is laid out and structured. if we don't have it all simple and ready to go we wont do it. and that it is cheap. I have a tight budget this year. I am wondering if I really need to buy an extra for me or if I can just guide them through the projects. The samples make it look like they really could do it without me doing it too. I plan to use grade 3 for the 2nd and 4th graders and probably 5 for the older one as she needs more drawing instruction as she's had basically none. Has anyone else used this and have any insight for me? thanks

Yes I know that's what I says. I'm hoping they can be a little more independent with it as I don't actually have time to do that I don't think. It's why art has never really been done at home. it seems like the instructions are clear and if I'm sitting there with them they should be able to follow them. I just really don't want to commit to taking the time to work them ahead of time and I was hoping someone else had done it that way and it worked ok. I'm open to other options also but like how inclusive this one is because I don't have a lot of $ to work with.
