bethben Posted May 17, 2017 Share Posted May 17, 2017 My ds has done grammar since 3rd grade. He kinda sorta knows what he's doing (how's that for a good grammar sentence?!?). Should I continue with another year? I know what program he could use--it just seems like overkill and not really relating to his writing ability. Help him correct things in the context of his writing and see how it goes. You can always hit grammar one more time in 8th or 9th if it seems like he needs it. Creekside5 Posted May 18, 2017 Share Posted May 18, 2017 My son is a precocious 11 year old with good grammar knowledge already. We are going to hit grammar one last time with AG and then we will be done. I want to make sure he has a solid foundation. Maybe Analytical Grammar sometime between now and 9th grade?
