susanah4
Too much stress from word problems in Alg 1, and I was never too good at the word problems myself, so I let her skip over a lot of them. I would like to go back this summer and work on only word problems while she doesn't have all the new Algebra concepts coming at her every day. Any suggestions for a workbook or website that explains word problems well and has a lot of practice?

Julie of KY
Singapore math level 3 challenging word problems - Yes this is a "third grade" book, but it has great word problems with not so hard of numbers. I use it a lot with algebra students who are struggling to pick apart word problems.
