PentecostalMom
7yo and 11yo, I have looked at several resources, but would like some recommendations. Thanks!
Lori D.
Penny Gardner's original Nine-Note Recorder Method with duets for beginners, the Quick Nine-Note Recorder, or the New Nine-Note Recorder book -- inexpensive, simple and clear instruction, and lots of little tunes at each new level to keep the student moving forward. The first of those 3 books by Penny Gardner worked great here with 2 non-musical DSs! :) Can purchase as a book -- or as a pdf file from Penny Gardner's website. mytwomonkeys
"It's Recorder Time" by Alfred D'Auberge was our favorite. Very easy to understand & by the end of the book you're able to play "The First Noel". I used it when my children were elementary aged. Sally Day
Recorder from the Beginning by John Pitts. I learnt with this, and have taught my two boys with it. Very popular with teachers over here in the UK.
