Paige Posted March 13, 2017 Share Posted March 13, 2017 Why do we have Daylight Savings Time in the summer when the days are already longer? I could use it in the fall and winter when it gets dark at 4, but that's precisely when Daylight Savings ends. And i don't need it to be daylight in the summer at 9:30 when I want my kids to go to bed. 8:30 would be perfectly reasonable. We have this backwards. I don't mind the time change once I'm used to it, however, but the first week of "spring forward" is hard on me and the first week of "fall back" is glorious. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
