sea_mommy
Do these include the answers or will I need the Teacher's Manual as well?
Ellie
You should always buy the teacher's manual. The first three grade levels are dependent on it. You are supposed to do the scripted oral class time with the children, and *then* give them their seatwork (worksheets for first and second grade, textbook for third grade). There is no instruction in the students materials for those grades. Some concepts are introduced for several lessons before they show up in the student materials. sea_mommy
We have a primary math program and I was thinking that maybe I could just use these as review?
Ellie
We have a primary math program and I was thinking that maybe I could just use these as review? If you are doing Rod and Staff as intended, you won't need extra review. :-)
8Arrows4theLord
The black lines sets come with an answer packet (not sure about the new 1st gr. program- I don't have the new one). They are a good supplement for your other program. Hope that helps. :001_smile:

I've had a really hard time finding something where I didn't have to buy the Teacher's Manual also (which then makes it not very affordable for a supplement). We like our math program, my ds just needs a bit more practice. I'll be getting these! :)
sea_mommy
Update: I bought the blacklines for grades 2 and 3 and they are *just* what I needed! Extra practice pages that I can give when needed, I don't have to figure out all of the answers by myself if I don't want to, and they were very affordable. Thank you!
