Today I realized that the necklace that my daughter is wearing, that I gave her, that was once mine

is 40 years old. It's practically an antique. How can that be? Trying to wrap my head around this. I know this year is 50 for me. I don't think that bothers me. I'm not running to get botox or color my grey hairs I'm at a good place, reasonably fit. I'm ready for the next decade but looking at that necklace and realize that 50 years of my life have passed is overwhelming. Kwim

Turning 50 was the hardest year for me.  I don't mind being in that decade.  It's just that I was (am) the youngest in my immediate family and of all my 1st cousins.  How can the youngest be 50 years old?
