Donna
Ha! I always come here when I have a question about anything because I think there must be someone on these boards with an answer. Who would I contact (such as a government agency here or in France, providing they have someone who can speak English) with questions about a minor/child (US citizen) working short-term (about a month) in France? I have a couple very specific questions I cannot find answers to online. Thank you.
Laura Corin
Anyone working outside their own country would require the relevant work visa (not visa waiver), whether they are young and old. Unless there is a specific programme (au-pair visa, etc) that application process can be very hard. Donna
Thanks, Laura. Yes, I have figured out that much. I have specific questions on exceptions to the work laws about minors for entertainment and cultural type work but cannot seem to figure out who to talk to. I have put in an email to the consulate in the closest city so far but it is the holiday so not expecting to hear anything back until next week.
