maize
I came across this on Homeschool Buyers Co-op but haven't heard anything about it. I like the idea of using a game format to teach kids to code; has anyone here used it? I'm wondering if it is worth the investment or not. https://www.homeschoolbuyersco-op.org/codecombat/?source=24445

SarahW
Huh, I think Crazypants played this last year sometime. Was the free intro course in Beta then? A techie friend sent us the link for it, and I remember the home page looking different. Oh, yep, he has an account there, but they want it to be updated to a teacher account. I remember that he liked it at first, but then he didn't. Maybe because it was beta and glitchy? Or maybe there wasn't anything to do past the intro course? But he also really liked Prodigy at first, until he didn't. He's a frustrating kid like that. $70 is a lot considering my classroom only has one kid in it. Maybe I could split it with my SIL and have cousin sign up, they play computer games together all day long. Hmmm.....
maize
I thought my kids would get bored with prodigy after a few weeks, but ten months in they're still playing.
