frugalmamatx
I put a fully cooked ham on 1.5 hours ago in the oven. DD fell asleep during that time, and is soundly asleep. Can I turn it off and safely leave in the oven until she wakes, and then bring back up to temp before serving?
gardenmom5
Is this a precooked ham? Your risk is drying it out. Is it a bone-in cook it for hours? No, you need to get it to a minimum temp. I grew up with the latter, there's a differece. Big difference.
Monica_in_Switzerland
I don't see why not, also ham is fine served room-temp or warm or even cold, so I wouldn't worry too much about bringing it back up to temp. I don't see it as any different than cooling it before putting in the fridge, then re-heating for another meal.

Hasn't been glazed yet either :)
