RegGuheert
I completely blew my budget this morning by purchasing an iPad Pro 9.7" for DD14. She's into drawing and this seems like a great price for the Pro. Here's a search link that should get you there if you are interested: http://www.target.com/s?searchTerm=ipad%20pro Unfortunately, even though they told me before the sale that the unit would be at the store on Christmas Eve, they reneged immediately after the sale. :toetap05: Still, for the price, I'll stick with it. Anyway, this price is lower than what you can buy a refurbished unit for from Apple as long as you are willing to wait until after Christmas to get it. Edit: It seems the availability of ship-to-store is somewhat erratic. As I click back-and-forth on the different memory and color options, I sometimes get different responses from the form. Thank you, Arcadia! :hurray: I went to the site and it showed one IN STOCK at our store. In other words, they were sitting on my other order and hoping to sell one locally. Anyway, I cancelled the other order and rebought it for $494.99 plus tax (iPad Pro with 128GB of storage - normally $699 from Apple). And I can pick it up in about two hours! Woohoo!!

I'm off to pick up the iPad Pro and I will be toting two other Guheerts who want to do some Christmas shopping of their own!

I haven't deleted the apps I downloaded for fun so now I have 94.84gb of my storage used up. Which leaves me with 26.89gb of free storage. My kids have 128gb iPad Air 2 from Target Black Friday sale which are good enough for them :) Hope your daughter enjoys her iPad Pro. I loaded all the available Adobe apps then decide what to delete after trying. Some have subscriptions cost.

I'm always deleting a movie to make room for more apps. :tongue_smilie: My kids have 128gb iPad Air 2 from Target Black Friday sale which are good enough for them :)I think they can probably survive with that! ;) Hope your daughter enjoys her iPad Pro. I have seen many reviews by artists which indicate that Procreate (which we already have) is excellent for drawing and painting, so I was planning on having her use that for now. I have also collected a wide variety of picture- and movie-editing apps over the years, but I haven't used them since none of the iPads really had very decent cameras. Finally, Apple put a good one into the iPad Pro 9.7 so perhaps DD14 can take up doing some photographic art, as well. We'll see.

Arcadia
The iPad air 2 replaces their 16gb iPad 2 and iPad 3 so it's a nice upgrade for them. My kids use the free Tayasui sketches and Adobe Sketchbook Express for their drawing. They are also having fun with Autodesk ForceEffect Motion which is a simple mechanics drawing app. I am playing with Adobe Photoshop but have not tried Lightroom which is recommended on this board for photography touch ups. My kids use iMovie and free Stop Motion Studio for movies making. They have used iMovie since the iPad 2 was released as they went to the free Apple store summer class.
