dirty ethel rackham
DD is taking APUSH at the local high school. She is doing well on all the essay exams, but struggling on the multiple choice questions (the unit tests are simulating the exam, from what I am told.) She is a big picture gal, not a nitty gritty detail person. Any suggestions on study aids to help her get better at this? She is getting a b+ in the class, but I am worried about the first semester final for her. Her school uses The American Pageant as a text. She is having to be very efficient with her time because her AP Physics 1 class is kicking her rear end and that is where she is spending a lot of her time. KarenC
We used The American Pageant last year and thought it was very good. The best study guide I found by far was using previous FRQs and the 2015 edition of United States History: Preparing for the AP exam published by AMSCO. The ISBN is 978-0-7891-8904-2.
