matrips
So I just bought the 6qt for $68 on Amazon. Now what?! I'm completely new to it- what other accessories or cookbooks should I buy while things are still on sale today? Thanks!
Guest
A steamer basket might be nice. I've enjoyed this cookbook- https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0804185328/ref=sxts1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480339906&sr=1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65 Also the Hip Pressure Cooking Cookbook shows you how to cook multiple things at once (without combining). When I first got mine I checked most of the cookbooks out from the library before committing to purchasing. The 500 recipe one ended up being one worth purchasing. Too many good recipes to copy. :)

Guest
thanks. any particular steamer basket? I see metal and silicone ones.I just have a regular old metal one with handles. Whatever happens to be on sale should probably work fine! :) ETA- if you plan on stacking or cooking multiple veggies or dishes get metal for sure so you can stack it. FriedClams
I have a metal streamer basket that I bought cheap locally. I'm going to invest in a second pot, a lid or two, and some colored seals (sweet/savory). I use my IP about 4 days a week!!
matrips
Thanks! I think I'm getting the glass lid, an extra pot, an extra seal (anyone own the colored knockoff ones or just the original ones?), and an OXO metal steamer.
