SquirrellyMama
if I ever tell my kids we will papier mache the solar system again. :banghead: We were a little behind so today we made three planets and 7 moons. Jupiter has 66 moons. :001_huh: That seems excessive. We are making the four biggest moons. I'm glad we are back on track. Now all I have to do is figure out how to attach rings and make an asteroid belt. Kelly

gardening momma
Now all I have to do is figure out how to attach rings and make an asteroid belt. For the rings, what about making them with cardboard? Make the center slightly smaller than the diameter of the planet, so it'll just rest lightly over it? You can either paint multiple rings, or you can cut out strips from in between each ring, keeping some cardboard in a couple of places to hold all the rings together--like how stencils of letters have bits that connect.
