pitterpatter
I very much like the way "Getting Started With Spanish" organizes the teaching of Spanish, but DD finds the presentation and our routine very boring. It's not particularly challenging for her, but she dreads it anyway. She likely has ADHD and dyslexia, so I try to do what I can to jazz things up, but this one's tough. Insertcreativenamehere
There are flash cards and games you can use with Quizlet. We used it with Prima Latina and it really helped.
2_girls_mommy
I haven't used that program, but we are doing a Easy Step by Step Spanish this year and it is grammar and not super exciting. I have decided to teach the grammar once a week, doing as much of the exercises as we can in that one day, and to have my dd12 do the Easy Peasy Spanish daily Mon-thurs. It links to games and youtube videos for vocabulary and will be more fun than my grammar lessons. We do Latin daily, so she gets grammar through that and through English. So for mine, one day a week of Spanish grammar for a preview of high school Spanish is enough. If it was my only foreign language we would probably do it more.
pitterpatter
Oh, hot dog! How did I miss this last year? We used Quizlet daily for Wordly Wise and I *thought* I looked up Getting Started With Spanish, but apparently not. Thanks. There are flash cards and games you can use with Quizlet.
