TravelingChris Posted April 13, 2016 Share Posted April 13, 2016 The longest one I have done is about one month (maybe a bit longer). The entire family drove from NM to DC area visiting places along the way and not using the shortest route but a more scenic route. Then we stayed about 3 weeks in the DC metro area. Part of our vacation wasn't a vacation since 9/11 happened while we were there. Also DH attended a class for the three weeks and the kids and I did some homeschooling and some touristing.
