Carrousel
Considering these for science curriculum, anyone have experience with either? Review? Especially looking for how easy the materials were to use, and if the kits/experiments were worthwhile. Jackie
We used 3 or 4 of the Nutshell kits. Like every line of science kits I've ever tried, some are better then others. I think they generally overestimate the "grade level", as we were easily pairing them with the K-2 book for Building Foundations of Scientific Understanding. We really liked the Gases one, and were more meh about the Liquids and Sound ones - not that they were bad, just that I didn't feel they were $50 worth of good. The Is It Alive one required so many things that weren't in the box as to make it largely useless for us. ETA: except for the Is It Alive one, most materials came in the boxes and were easy to use.
