mommy5
I'm looking for a middle school art & music curriculum. Do you have any suggestions? I'm thinking of something that talks about specific artists and art movements, composers and the movements in music history and then combines them with listening to music and studying art (possibly creating some art in the style of the famous artists). Camy-7 boybarians 1 lady
Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but we really liked Meet The Masters. It has been about 5 or 6 years since we did it, but it integrated a slideshow online with a project that imitated an artist. (I was an art history major and found this curriculum to be doable, practical, and appealing).

Camy-7 boybarians 1 lady
love that! Need to look it up ... anything for music? This is exclusively art history (and a bit of fine are through duplication of some of the works by the student). http://meetthemasters.com/
PeachyDoodle
We've been using Harmony Fine Arts this year. It has several levels so you can make it as intensive as you like. DD is not really an arts kind of person, but she has enjoyed it.
