Ok, this is exactly our plan, too. We're going back to AOPS after we finish Lial's. So, we want to do LOF Geometry over the winter/spring and then start AOPS Geometry next summer.

Thanks!!

Did she like the LOF Geometry? Is it worth working through?

My dd did it after Algebra 1 (A beka) without a problem. I think she had to look up how to do a couple of more advanced algebra problems along the way but nothing huge. Fyi, It is the only formal geometry book she has ever done so it is pretty complete because she has moved on to other math challenges fine. Good test scores etc. Plans to be a math major.

Thanks for the reply! We liked the algebra book, so I think we'll continue with the series. We've been working on Lial's Algebra also (which is a college text), but the Life of Fred Algebra was more enjoyable. They both seem to be about the same difficulty level (but I'm not a math expert or anything).
