Jane in NC
One of my son's friends who has done a variety of interesting projects is applying to colleges this year. His mother has asked me if they should have their ancillary documentation as paper materials or whether the information is better to submit to colleges on disk. Does it matter? As usual, thanks in advance. Jane
Gwen in VA
I have NO opinion! When my dd applied to colleges, a few admissions counselors mentioned that they wanted paper because of the concern about viruses on media from any outsider's computer. But that was two years ago now -- so I don't know if admissions folks have updated their opinions!
Jane in NC
Were your ears buzzing today, Gwen? I was relating to my friend comments that you have made on this board concerning course descriptions, extra-curriculars, etc. She has been receiving advice from friends to submit a single page transcript which she feels does not adequately describe the unique experiences that her son has had. It seems that my new mantra is "Well, Gwen says..." Thank you for being here! Jane
