classicmommy
I am using CLE Math and LA with my two children and we love it. I was considering getting the reading program for my 2nd grader that is reading books like the Little House series, Charlotte's Web, Heidi, The Wind and the Willows etc. Should I buy her the 2nd grade reading program or another grade? Also, what skills do you see being developed by using it?
Susan in TX
If your 2nd grader is reading Little House series, Charlotte's Web, Heidi, The Wind and the Willows etc then you do not need a reading curriculum. And CLE 2nd grade would be too easy. Susan in TX
SnMomof7
We like CLE Reading, but if you haven't used it from the beginning and want to skip the phonetic work, 3rd is generally a better place to jump in. The thinking questions can be a bit challenging though, it isn't just the level of the readers themselves, but the LU work to consider. Have you looked at the samples?
