Another Foerster Alg. 2 question: Did you do the trig chapters?

Recommended Posts

I've seen it said here that even Foerster himself recommends doing trig as part of precalc.  Then again, it looks like trig is part of Alg. 2 often enough.  If you did Foerster's Alg .2, did you do the final three chapters--trig--in the same year?

Are you planning on using Foerster for PreCal? If so, does that text have trig in it?

It has trig in it. It has a more modern and expanded treatment of trigonometry than the algebra and trigonometry textbook, which is why Foerster recommends it.

Here's the TOC: http://math.kendallhunt.com/documents/ALookInside/Precalculus/FPC2_TOC.pdf -- trigonometry is treated in chapters 2-6.
