StephanieZ
I have found the AoPS math classes universally excellent. They are fairly scripted, so far as I can tell, and have been carefully tweaked . . . and have a herd of excellent TAs assisting in the online classroom . . . I don't think you'll go wrong (assuming the material is a good fit for the student).
Julie of KY
I agree that I don't think the quality is teacher specific. I do see a little bit of different "personality" between teachers, but the math is all good.
happycc
So got a set of twins taking prealgebra this summer and we have one book. You think they can share or should I get another book for the other twin?
Julie of KY
My kids could share a book without problems.
Sebastian (a lady)
Many people use the AoPS books alone but don't take the online courses because of the pace of the online class. Also this is a busy week with AP exams. But hopefully some of past class user will chime in.
