Melissa B
My dd is planning to do a summer internship. Is this something I should place on her transcript? If so, where? Or is it something that goes somewhere on the college applications, but not on the actual transcript?
regentrude
Unless it is something that will earn academic credit, I would it list as an extracurricular. There will be space in the application to elaborate on those and listing iot there makes it stand out more.

Or only on the college applications?
Luckymama
Transcripts are only for grades and, if you wish to include them, standardized test scores. Everything else goes on the application. Sometimes kids need a resume-type document for in-person interviews. My older kids were told to keep a running document (Extracurriculars, awards, internships, jobs, volunteering, leadership) that could be turned into a resume whenever they might need one.

Transcript is for academic coursework and grades, and I also listed results on standardized tests.
