bettyandbob
I had a giftcard from work that I used to get a fitbit HR. There's a little book with safety instructions and warranties in 600 languages. It had an amazing amount of instructions like "do not place product in dishwasher." I can't seem to find instructions on how to charge or use it.. I'm tired. Maybe I'm missing someting. Is there some place I should be looking. Is this product really intuitive and I am just incompetent. I was hoping to start using this tomorrow.
Luckymama
(On phone) All you need to do is put the dongle thingie in your computer's USB for the FitBit/computer to start talking. And then follow the set up instructions online :)
kitten18
Yes, it didn't really come with any instructions. I put the thing in my computer and downloaded the app for my phone. The instructions are in the app.
kitten18
The app (computer or phone) will tell you when it needs to be charged.
PinkTulip
My kids pointed out to me that there is a little piece of paper that came with it that said something like "to set up, go to Fitbit.com/setup". It looked like a small piece of advertising and I completely overlooked it. Setup was done online, painless, and pretty quick. Charging only takes 1-2 hours. You can totally start using it tomorrow. And yes, I read through that whole booklet, too, which is amazing how small and dim the type is! I've had mine for about 3 weeks now and love it.
