Heathermomster
Did you happen to explore the speaker Dr. Jerome Schultz's book? On the inside flap, the author recommends taking multiple pictures while on a vacation or field trip. When the student goes to write about the vacation or field trip, they can select and lineup up 4-6 photos in order sequence. Students basically use the photos to write about the event. For a child with sequencing issues, this method could be helpful and fun if the student took the pictures. The idea seems to line up well with Dr. Hayne's webinar because vocabulary charts could be made off each picture too.
OneStepAtATime
Thanks Heathermomster. Actually this is an excellent idea for several things DD is doing, such as her projects with Student Council. I am hoping to incorporate this into our school stuff on a regular basis. She LOVES to take photos (although she prefers landscapes to people or specific events). :)
