Timed Tests?

Recommended Posts

Hi wapiti and Muttichen,

Thanks for your replies.😊 We are just wanting to see how well our son does on a timed test. Plus, if later on down the road if he decides to take an online college course this will help give him some kind of idea of what it feels like to take an online timed test.😉

For some freebies, I would check out some standardized test prep books for things like SAT or ACT with high schoolers and try a section or two just to determine their comfort level with time constraints.  For some kids, time constraints are no big deal, but it is a big problem for others.   My sister's kids who homeschooled were never "subjected" (her wording) to any timed tests until big stakes college entrance exams, and all three struggled tremendously (and did not do well as a result).
