Even if your daughter did not take the pill you mention, standard "monthly" pills will make her bleeding less, much less. Perhaps a course of the pill, combined with iron supplements and\or an iron-rich diet for a few months, would get her iron deficiency under control. Some girls and women continue to have lighter bleeding for a few months after they stop the pill...maybe she wold benefit from that as well. kiana Posted November 5, 2014 Share Posted November 5, 2014 She doesn't have to stay on it forever, but getting the bleeding reduced would really help with getting the anemia under control.
