Alexigail
Tonight is the annual International Wave of Light event. People all over the world are lighting candles to honor mothers who have suffered pregnancy or infant loss. I just wanted to send out support to all mothers who have experienced these things. You're not alone. I thought it would be nice to have a thread of well wishes for those who are grieving. There are many of us who have sought guidance and comfort here over the years. If you'd like to share your experience or support, feel free.
freeindeed
I had two miscarriages in 1999. I still think about those babies often.
Alexigail
:grouphug: freeindeed It's getting better with the internet, but it's still a very silent and lonely kind of grief. I was really amazed how many women spoke to me after my loss to tell me about theirs. These were friends of mine, and I had no idea what they'd been through. It's been almost two years for me and I still get a pang when I meet a baby born around my baby's due date. It's tough.
happypamama
Love and hugs to all of you. We light our candle in honor of all of these precious babies. One of them is our niece, stillborn at 36 weeks; she would be almost nine now. I'm so sorry for anyone who has been through such tragedies.
