midorifamily
I vaguely remember some moms saying they put their dc's name (and SS#?) in the header margin of the application documents. After reading past posts about application docs mysteriously lost (or "not sent"), I'm wondering if I should add a header. The transcript, school profile, and counselor letter have dc's name, but course description and list of extra curricular activities don't. So maybe this is a good idea? I don't want to put her SS#, but dc's name and birth date might fit the bill… What do you think? Midori
regentrude
I had the SSN on the transcript only. On all other documents I had DD's name in the footer if it was not part of the title of the document (i.e., if it says "Counselor's Letter for Jane Doe", it is unnecessary to put the name elsewhere on the paper.) Kareni
We used my daughter's name as a footer on her course descriptions and homeschool profile as well as her reading and textbook lists. Regards, Kareni
Teachin'Mine
Colleges which required additional paperwork, to be sent to them via snail mail, usually asked for the student's name, date of birth, and the Common Application # on each of the pages. I would think that a header identifying the homeschool, or the student, would be good to have, but I don't see the need for the SS#.
midorifamily
Thank you so much for the replies. I will use the header when dc's name is not explicitly mentioned. And we are almost done, thanks to you ladies. Midori
