ereks mom
My dd, EK, will be an 8th grader in the fall. A couple of years ago, we piddled with Minimus; she thought it was fun, but I don't think she retained anything. We quit before we finished the book because our co-op offered a "fun" Spanish class she wanted to take. Which Galore park program do you like: So You Really Want to Learn Latin or Latin Prep? What's the difference between them? Can anyone compare either of these to David Florian's Phenomenon of Language: Tabula Latina?

If you search the board for Latin Prep, or Galore Park you'll find several threads. :) Laura in China is the person I would call the "Galore Park" expert. She's using/has used several of their materials and gives great feedback and advise.
umarider
dd12 is using Latin Prep 1 this year and loves it! (Cannot stress that enough!) From my understanding, So You Want to Learn Latin is an earlier version of Latin Prep. The LP books have "So you really want to learn" in smaller type on the covers.
