Most community groups are strictly age segregated . Another is homeschool groups tend to be more relaxed about "differently abled" kids. And when one has young "differently abled" kids, one may well be more interested than the average parent in monitoring how they are coping with the environment. texasmama Posted August 23, 2014 Share Posted August 23, 2014 In my area, there are no opportunities for league sports past the 6th grade. My sons play on a middle school basketball league coached by my dh comprised solely of homeschooled students. We play other homeschooled teams or university model school teams.
