Mystie
Our site is now live and active! We're kicking off the launch of Scholé Sisters with a two week series titled "You're More Classical Than You Think." We're hoping to show how CiRCE-inspired principles are down-to-earth and probably things you're already doing but not realizing. We hope it's encouraging and uplifting, and we hope you'll join us! We're giving away a prize bundle this week to celebrate, too. Here's just a snippet from Sarah Mackenzie's post today: "In our minds’ eye, we see long lists of grammar forms, copious amounts of memory work, and dusty copies of Homer and Plato. Many of us avoid the idea of the classical tradition because we feel rather… well… ordinary. But the true aim of the classical tradition is to nurture wisdom and virtue, to help a person become more fully human, and to know and love God with all that we are." Tomorrow I'll have a post about virtue as the goal of education, and later in the week Brandy Vencel will be talking about beauty in the home. We hope our message comes across clearly: classical homeschooling does not have to be intimidating and overwhelming.
SEGway
For the giveaway, is there actually a way to leave a blog comment? I couldn't find it. (That doesn't mean isn't there. :) ) ETA: It's totally obvious now. Thanks!
silver
Does the site have an RSS feed? When I try to add it to my feed reader, it says "Looks like this feed is not valid or currently not responding."
Mystie
The RSS feed does appear to need fixing; we're working on that. And the link to leave comments is only at the top of the post right now. We'll get the link put on the end of the post where we're all used to clicking it ASAP. Hopefully these things will work themselves out this first week. :)
