LisaKinVA
Okay, well...we have one more (easy) fundraiser this weekend -- but since we first put boots on the ground May 31 -- we will have raised over $8,000 for summer camp. We are still hopeful that we'll be receiving a significant check from NOSC, but we haven't heard back yet on that. I'm just so very glad that we're going to get on a regular schedule that is much more relaxed (for me). And, I can put my kitchen back in order since I don't have to cook for massive amounts of people until early August! Woot! I will be sleeping good tonight! Jean in Newcastle
I bet they are very glad that you did put boots on the ground. You've done an amazing job, Lisa.
Harriet Vane
Soooo impressed. Seriously. Next time I have a big project I will call you in as manager because you are clearly the type who Gets It Done.
LisaKinVA
I was a seriously motivated mom... :D Now, I seriously need a good, long nap! We made 36# of pulled pork yesterday...brined for 12 hours, smoked for 12 hours, and I made a special sauce (BBQ flavor, from scratch) that simmered in crock pots all night (we needed a good liquid or the roasting pans would dry out the pork while we served it).
